Abstract
In this paper, 1-octyl-3-methylimidazole hexafluoro-phosphate ([C8MIM][PF6]) immobilized silica as sorbent in solid phase extraction for the separation of rhodamine B(RhB) in food samples is evaluated. The sorbent was characterized through SEM and FTIR. Parameters including the sample pH, adsorption temperature, volume, adsorption time, eluent and elution time were optimized. Under the optimum condition, a linear spiked calibration curve in the range of 0.50-150.00 g L-1 with R2 =0.9997 was obtained. The relative standard deviation was 1.53% (n=3, c=10.0 g L-1) and the detection limit was 0.09 g L-1. The presented procedure was successfully applied to analysis rhodamine B in real samples.
